Mineral ratios

Hi guys.

I know the net is loaded with info, some & some bad, but a few days ago I found an interesting website that had something to say about muscle cramps & nutritional causes:

http://www.acu-cell.com/dis-mus.html

Anyway, I went back there again to see what else they had to say about nutrition & supplementation & found this page on mineral ratios:

Mineral Ratios for Calcium, Magnesium & other Elements

Some of it seems sensible, but some I'm not 2 sure about. I just wanted to show it to you peeps to see what you thought.

Comments welcome.

Nobody cares about their mineral ratios?

I mean, I know most guys just buy their vitamin/mineral supps already formulated, but that doesn't guarantee a deficiency won't happen.

The main reason I posted the 2 links was because the author mentions some ways to verify whether deficiencies exist. Apparently measuring blood plasma levels is ineffective for that purpose. Sure, theoretically if our blood has enough of all the vital nutrients, then our cells will have adequate supplies, but the author seems to feel that in a deficient state, the presence of certain minerals prevent the absorption of the deficient ones by competitively binding to nutrient receptors. Sorta like clomid for preventing gyno, only in a bad way.

I especially liked the guys advice to check for calcium deficiency by using large doses of vitamin C to watch for muscle spasms & cramps.

No other comment or insights on this/these topics?
