Minimum gear to hold all gains?

How much muscle does one thing 5ft 8 person can hold naturally ? I think figuring out how much muscle people are over the average norm a body can hold is key to understanding, what your really asking your body to do

Of course its all subjective...objective and each person is different...BUT IF WE WHERE TO GENERALIZE
"David Epstein has a definitive answer to the question of how much muscle any individual can pack onto his frame: five pounds for every pound of bone."

Also a few websites out there as well - don't know if these are all just educated guesses or what - or how they came up with their methods...did they do some type of study? or

I know you asked for a generalization but I don't think you reasonably can generalize this.

I mean, some people have more muscle without training than some others have with training and steroids involved... (To give extreme examples)

It's way too individual to reasonably compare.

As for the original question: I stand by what luki said, to REALLY 'maintain' you will need the same as what got you there in the first place.
