well if its a muscle on muscle tear.....and you get it fixed....its
AT LEAST 12 weeks in a sling.....cant do nothing for 6 months...
if its a tendon release.....you will be in a sling for 6 weeks, and can start
training again light in 6 weeks....
the doc told me....."its like sewing flank steak to flank steak"....as
mine was a muscle tear, not a tendon tear....so the muscle stays
permanently damaged....even after repair.
with tendon tear, the muscle stays intact...not damaged....and just needs
to be pulled back up somewhere in the arm pit wherever the tendon pulled
from...
I hope its the easier one for you......but it doesn't look like...
I DID NOT get mine fixed.....as with muscle to muscle tears have a 50%
chance of busting again before it healed....and I needed to work at that
time.....and needed both of my arms......
now its just about a 2inch divot in my right pec.....flexing you can see it more
the leaner you get you see it more.....my right pec is smaller....
strength is about the same....but not the same in my head....in my head I
always worry that my left one is gonna go....
now also, the right delt is bigger than my left (noticeable) from compensating
for the pec......
average people don't ever notice it unless I point it out to them....
creter YOURS doesn't look as bad as mine.....but looks like a muscle tear
not a tendon rupture......usually with that much blood its the muscle....iv
seen tendon ruptures with no bleeding at all...
hope this helps...
