My initial response was to say its silly.

But as I watched, and then watched the other pole dancing videos

Holy Moly, those women are strong and in shape! It must take incredible amounts of training to do what they do.

It certainly requires alot more athletic ability and sacrifice than most of the olympic sports.
And, umm, its fun to watch.
