Hello to everyone, especially to all my brothers on here, that have chatted with me, to give me not only advice, but support.
So, had a ct scan /w contrast...calcium % came back at 0. The combination of carvedilol, banicar, triamterene, and hydroxyzine...have really helped, i havent needed to reach for my nitroglycerin in months. Ive dropped a lotttttt of size, on trt 60mg/week, but im focusing my gym time more on cardio, band work, etc. Im on a statin, but i want to get away from using it, but my bad, and total shoot up when i stop its use.
I was diagnosed with hashimoto's thyroiditis 2 months ago, and leukocytoclastic vasculitis a week ago.
Now like always is my case, my t4/tsh are in the range of being ok....but i feel like shit, most of us know how you feel, when your thyroid isn't functioning how it should. Im damn near dosing off typing this, and this is all the time.
So a few questions...1, has anyone here ever dealt with, or are close to someone dealing with either hashimoto's and/leukocytoclastic? What helped them, if anything?
2, has anyone had any success (or failure) using raw glandulars, because my doctor will not prescribe me anything for Hashimoto's, and i feel like shit too much.
3, my rheumatologist has suggested doing Magnesium IV treatments, my insurance is covering it now, but I wanted to ask you, if youved tried it, and what if any benefits did you experience?
I purchased some pituitary, and thyroid raw glandulars to see what it could do, but i wanted to see if anyone here would share their experiences, etc.
Thanks guys!
