Hooper definitely surprises me every time. He doesn’t look like he could do it but makes it look almost effortless. F’n freak!

Colton pulls sumo, nothing to get excited about IMO

I pull conventional and agree it's more impressive, but Coltons is more of a hybrid and very, very impressive. Also, most people who aren't impressed with sumo can't pull shit sumo. Colton also squatted 1036, benched 573 before pulling 1036. Then almost locked out 1102. Dude is a total freak and the best powerlifter right now lb for lb.

I believe he's going to use a suit. Be awesome if I'm wrong though.

Colton is the strongest powerlifter ever and he’s only 24. He will pull 1100 and he’ll do it raw and after squatting 1000+lbs twice. That is much more impressive than Hooper who will use a suit and straps and he won’t have to squat and bench before that attempt. Hooper also outweighs him 50-70lbs. I like Hooper and hope he hits it but Colton’s lifts are on another level.

Yea I don’t get the hate on sumo pulling like Colton’s or ed coans.

Think if you were to pick up a boulder, naturally it would be more sumo style than conventional. It’s when taken to the extremes, similar to arching in the bench press it just becomes ridiculous.

I also noticed Colton hook grips…. So savage. Dudes the Michael Jordan of powerlifting at age 24
