MMA AND STEROIDS

I know there must be a lot of board members who are fans of mixed martial arts , but anyone compete or believe some of the top MMA guys use steroids , especially the super- heavyweights ? I remember reading an article in a popular bodybuiding mag from a journalist who claims to be an authority on steroids that in any sport were strength and aggression is an asset , you'd find steroid use . its just bodybuilders who are regarded as the biggest known users .

Lots of UFC guys have tested positive for PEDs, like Sherk (deca), Tim Sylvia (winny), and Stephan Bonnar (EQ?). I'm sure that the early UFC's before they were sanctioned had many more guys taking steroids etc. I don't even think that they tested for PEDs in Pride, so Mark Coleman, Randellman and some other muscular guys could have used.

well antonio bigfoot silva was found to use steroids so there is a possibility. i think there's a reason why most of them fight over seas in japan where they don't test or are not strict with their testing. i mean, look at guys like bob sapp, he hasn't gotten caught for anything, but there's a good chance he is using. obviously some of them are just large individuals such as zuluzino and butterbean.

Joe "Daddy" Stevenson showed an awful lot of gyno when he cut down for a recent fight, but that is pure speculation.

Some of them definetly do it and mask it. All sports do it

yeah, I'm sure there are lots of guys who do. BJ Penn comes to mind as one of the clean ones just going by the way he looks haha

I competed in mma for a couple years. Most fighters I know do use or have used gear. Most are on something be it igf,gh,test ect. I didnt use anything when I fought tho because worrying about the fight, cutting weight, injuries ect was already enough on my mind. I didnt want to have to think about drug tests too. Already a stressful enough sport as is.

I promise you...PROMISE YOU there are so many fighters taking juice, gh and a ton of other sports related drugs.

Do MMA guys use steroids??? Probably more do than don't. Keep in mind many AAS users don't look the part. I'd have to say that for every super jacked guy you see in the gym there's probably 20 guys using roids that barely even look like they workout. Many don't know what they're doing and their diets suck. Others just don't respond from roids the way others do.

Let's not forget about Chuck liddell's obvious GH gut. Thiago Alves blew up then tested for a masking agent. Alistair Overeem is another possible big name.

Chris Leben tested positive for winny (i think) after his last fight. Banned for 1 year. Rogan & everyone was raving how good he looked, cut,etc & low & behold....
You know everyone is looking at Lesnar right now. New champ & the shape he is in. Plus WWE handed out juice like Pez candy! lol.

This is what I want to see. Get me the biggest fastest guys out there and let em wreck shop on eachother. It's why we pay the money to watch the fights. You want to see someone get knocked out. Same with the NFL. I'd rather these guys use... JMO

I'm one of those guys whenever I decide to use this stuff a couple times a year ... My last good cycle was deca/ d-ball then deca / var at least 6-7 years ago , but I cant keep my diet as clean now and like to drink ... I'm also 39 years old and it doesnt get easier putting on muscle as we age and don't stay disciplined

the only ones that get caught are the ones dumb enough to use compounds like nandrolone and various other long acting gears.. if they have a good coach, they can get around the test no problem..
