Anyone ever heard of this product.. One of my friends says its selling like hotcakes and people really like it.. My friend says their is a business opportunity involved as well.. I have not researched or tried this product yet..

It's all over the place here in NJ. It's a pyramid sales business.

REALLY Expensive stuff for a juice consisting of 19 diffrent fruits... Maybe it is indeed rich in antioxidants but you will have to consume at least a glass of it to reach some effect (in my mind). There are other formulars going into the same direction which are more convincing (Biotest superfood comes to mind) but not convincing enough.
Your body will have difficultys absorbing all those antioxidants and phytochemicals at once. Plus many of those substance may have antagonistic effects concerning their uptake (think of calcium / magnesium as anaology).

To me it is quite clear that A LOT of money has been put into marketing to make the product seem exclusive. Therefore the IN-Crowd and "wealthier" people; wellness enthusiasts etc are the target audience.
Those people WILL buy this product cause they dont know better and want to feel special.
It seems that every 2-3 years a new juice hits the market claiming to be the holy grail of health (noni-juice has been quite popular over here in germany for example).

Bottom line it is best to supplement your daily nutrion with REAL veggies and REAL fruits. Dont eat the same veggies day in and out but rather have a broad variety.
Keep in mind that several substances in veggies and fruits may have not been discoverd which may play an essential role for your health and wellbeeing..

A couple of guys I went to highschool with contacted me out of the blue trying to sell this stuff so I did a bit of digging. Its another multi-level marketing scheme like amway or quixtar.

Crappy all things considered.
You can buy 100% pure acai juice cheap. At Monavies price you would be paying $40 per week for juice. $25 per week if you are on of their "distributors".
The monavie salesman tat came around my gym was a moron. Man did I want to punch him in the face. Big fat fast talking sterotypical salesperson trying to pitch a health drink.

You can sell things like this to people who don't know any better. Pomegranate juice for example has just as much nutritional value, if not more....and you can buy it at your local grocery for much less per ounce.

Put this junk right up there with "NONI JUICE"..... noni juice will cure about 1000 different ailments if you believe all the hype. Yet look at the poor health of the country were it comes from, taihiti(?) LOL enough said! NONI JUICE had one of the biggest pyramid schemes going for a long time, and it's still going!
