I completed my first two workouts on the 12 week mountaindog routine. John is sending me a new workout each week. I did legs yesterday and back today. Still getting accustomed to the new exercises and what weights to use to properly hit the rep ranges specified, but even though I dropped my normal poundages on what I usually do for legs, my DOMS today is WONDERFUL! And after today's back workout, my lats and traps are destroyed. This is exactly the type of new stimulus I was searching for. It's a little more volume than I am used to, but I'm going to follow this to a T. I didn't hear back from John on whether I can sub another movement for a leg exercise I cannot do, but I think I will keep it in. Arms follow Chest and Delts day, so I am unsure if I should take a day off after Chest before doing arms. Might have to. Can't wait for my second weeks training with Phase I!!
