Nebivolol is the biggest game changer ever. The fact it can reduce both BP AND resting heart rate without the usual beta blocker sides of erectile dysfunction and worsened cardio when exercising makes it ideal.
Telmisartan is great too as mentioned for overall health.
I have a medical reason for using these but would at least use Telmisartan if I didn't and Nebivolol on AAS/GH blasts. These should be mandatory on any AAS or HGH blast IMO (go back and read gotgame's posts on importance of an ARB on AAS).
I am less familiar with all the other BP meds, because I know these two are the best.
Do you get the cough?
I recall Micardis (Telmisartan) was all the talk on here a few months back. You ever give that one a go? What's your Lisinopril dose?
I just take 10 mg of lisinopril and used to take 20mg. I never got the cough that I can remember and have been on it for over 10 yrs now. I take a low dose because my blood pressure is very low now. ACE inhibitors and ARBs are good because they don't affect heart rate so don't decrease your maximum cardiac output for exercise. If you do have a heart rate that is abnormally high then you should see a cardiologist and figure out what is wrong. A beta blocker is what I take to keep mine down.
