Morning workout with Keto diet...

For those that use keto based diet, what do you eat/drink prior to workout in the morning?
I wake up, have an amino drink and banana, then go to the gym currently. But now that I'm switching over to keto, ide like to know what some of the members do that works well for them.
 
Coffee with a tiny bit of heavy cream and mct oil.
 
I don't do keto realy but when I train in the am I train "fasted" as in no solid food. I wake up and immediately start drinking on a liter of half water half bone broth that's pretty high in sodium , by the time I get in the gym I start drinking my intra-workout EAA cocktail

as b-boy said, little heavy cream or even black with some MCT. One word of caution....try the MCT oil first when you don't need to leave the house AND use a tiny amount. I'm talking 1/2 a tablespoon to start. Unfortunately I did not get this advice the first time I used it and I ended up pissing out of my asshole for 4 hours.

It does defeat the purpose lil bit though .. point of keto we'll one if these is to lower insulin through carbs management but these are eaa insulikogenic.. but then again there are way better ways than the keto diet to kill more birds with 1 stone.. tried it.. but not just for for health reasons people should never let themselves gain fat

Can you explain why it defeat it purpose?
 
Real bodybuilders trying to put on size ain’t doing no keto diet

There is some truth to this. There is a level of sarcoplasmic hypertrophy you just cannot hold onto without having some carbs in the diet, at least periodically. This is why CKD's are so popular.

All that said, it's just a cosmetic look and you don't really need it outside of show day.
 
I train first thing AM since 2 months now

Fasted just double espresso shot

I really like it

The take preworkout meal calories and combine with postworkout cals for a nice big meal

Im geting 40% of my daily carbs in this meal
 
When I train in the morning first thing, I just wake up and slam a strong preworkout and an ephedrine, and roll out of bed and head to the gym. I have to move quick and get training to beat the hunger

20 minutes after being dead asleep hitting heavy squats cracked out on PreWO is a hell of a way to wake up

If something is insulinogenic and also in the absence of carbs it will help ketosis.

IE using insulin to go into ketosis. Or more safely using Leucine to go into ketosis.
