Most Difficult/Painful Exercise?

Just wondering what you guys/girls think is the most difficult exercise out there? Is it squats, lunges, deadlifts, ab work? IMO its the glute/ham raise. I tried these the other day and I thought my hams were going to pop!! I could barely get 3 and I didnt even have any added weight? check this video; it doesn't look that impressive, until you actually try these for yourself?YouTube - Glut_ham_raise_bodyweight_plus_45lbs
 
I would have to say squats and barbell rows..they seem to take the most out of me
 
not the most difficult but very painful for me , funny enough , is the calves exercises where I lower slowly and holding the stretch for 15-20 sec.
 
squats?

Heavy Squats are very difficult to perform and I go all the way to failure with a slow controlled descent. Also I'm very winded. And my legs feel like they have been worked hard.(Pumped) But I just don't get that deep burning inside the muscle as I would with leg presses, lunges or even leg extensions. I've always wondered, Could this mean squats are just not for me?
 
we used to do GHR with bands, good god did they suck

Seated military presses, behind the neck kill my shoulders. But the second I stand up and do them. I'm ok. Not sure why. Hack squats make my legs burn and ache like a mofo for a few days.
 
Heavy ass squats.....Widowmakers. Make me puke everytime.

for overall misery and exhaustion its a toss up between squats and deads.
However for isolated muscle belly pain nothing hurts like biceps for me. Its the easiest thing for me to isolate and concentrate on which allows me to squeeze the hell out of them on each rep.

Did 3 sets of 10 this morning with about 90 second break.

I have to second this, I have very tight hams and everytime I do ham curls I have a feeling that they will tear or pop. I just need to go very light to warm them up real good and to stretch them in between sets and at the end.

i get the same feeling too ...Its my left shoulder that always hurts me ...

I also sometimes get that feeling that my hams are gonna pull or tear ...Hopefully that wont ever happen to me ...
