First of all I need to introduce myself since I am very new to this site...My name is Jason. My background was in powerlifting and nutrition. Being in the fitness industry has been and will always be a great passion of mine. I have been laying low recovering from knee and spine surgeries since late 2012. To date I have had three types of spinal surgeries in my lumbar spine and two knee surgeries. I need one more knee surgery and one more spine surgery on my neck this time around.
I was also diagnosed with Cuada Equina Syndrome from the compression injuries from the multiple levels of hernias that I had from the accident I was in. Since the accident my goal has been to train again. Right now I have permanent motor and sensory nerve damage in my right leg and hip...which sucks. But I am dealing with it in every positive way that I can. I have tried almost every single method out there for promoting a faster recovery. I have practically three years of experience so far with therapy and on hands experience with the recovery process that goes along with these types of surgeries.
I am creating this post to see if any members have experienced something similar as I have and if so what remedies have worked for you to get yourself back into pre injury form. I do welcome and and all feedback. And if anyone on here has any questions for me on here please feel free to ask. I have absolutely no issues with giving feedback to anyone contemplating spine surgeries or who is experiencing any issues post op.
