MOTS-c reduces myostatin and muscle atrophy signaling - PMC

MOTS-c is an interesting peptide.
Myostatin levels in mice can be lowered 40% with MOTS-c peptide. Studies in humans shows that MOTS-c and myostatin have an inverse relationship so it might translate to humans.
Doses in the studies translate to roughly 2.5 - 25 mg/day, with the latter dose used in the above study showing the 40% reduction in myostatin.
