Personally, no. And based on the mechanism of action, MOTS-C should rather improve sleep, not worsen it.
It helps stabilize and optimize mitochondrial function, and mitochondria are also involved in circadian rhythm. So in theory and in practice, it should even improve sleep.
I can say for myself I feel an overall improvement in how my body functions, and a lot of people report the same.
But when it comes to that “energy boost” people talk about 1–2 hours after injection I don’t feel it at all. In my opinion, it’s more likely placebo. But since so many people report it, it’s hard to completely ignore.
Personally, I just don’t feel it.
The only person I know report worse sleep was John Jewett on his forum. I even talked to him about it. I suggested that MOTS-C should rather help, but he said there were too many variables at that time to be sure. So he stopped using it to see what happens.
As he said himself too many things were changing at once, so it could have been coincidence, not directly caused by MOTS-C.
Hard to say maybe it’s an individual reaction, or maybe something related to solvents in the product.
But overall, based on how it works, MOTS-C should improve sleep, not make it worse.
