Please give me your feelings on range of motion regarding chest exercises?

I wonder what your opinion is as far as the best chest exercises to use for chest thickness?? Do you like db flyes?? Do you like declines???

Flys are worthless........gaining thickness is not about what exercise you choose, its about many other factors.........although IF those factors are present some exercises such as flys WILL HOLD YOU BACK from gaining your potential thickness.
 
Just from reading his posts I would go with dips. I could be wrong but that is my guess & I have put them in my routine.

my opinion,

flyes work the chest at their most WEAK move.
the chest basically presses the arm away from the body. so why lengthen your arm and not be able to use any heavy weight? when instead you could bend the arms creating more leverage allowing the chest to press more weight thus creating a thicker chest?

long story short- use basic compound moves cuz these stimulate the body the most.
