Mr.Iowa State Championships !!!

Hey PM guys and gals,

Just wanted you guys to know first that Im the new Mr.Iowa Champion (overall) of 2007....Im really happy with this win...This was a show that I wanted to win ever since I was a kid and first started training...And now 15 years later I won the whole show...I cant say enough how happy I am, to have this win under me now...I have to give alot of credit to my wife, who was with me the whole time and without her I woundnt have been able to do this...Also, want to give credit to my training partners and my father...Thanks a million guys...I also want to thank the PM family for beliving in me and always giving me the truth (good or bad) on my conditioning or anything else for that matter...Thanks again

Fantastic, that's a huge title. The competition talk really takes me back. Anyone know the date for the Jr Nationals in Chicago? My son is a teenager now and never got to see me compete. I'd like to take him to see a BIG show like that! I'll be sure to point you out there!

Yeah I know that the Mr.Iowa isnt a huge show anymore...But, I always believe that you always want to win your state title...I have seen all my friends win it...It was the first show I ever went to...(I watch Rod Ketchens, an IFBB pro now) win it...I knew from that point on (I was 18) I wanted that title...
I only did 4 good weeks of dieting for it, and was probably only 85 -90% on for this show...I didnt want to mess up my prep for Juniors so I didnt do anything special for this show...But, overall im super happy to get this out of the way and move on to bigger and better shows (no more regional level) ...

Gooey texted me about the win...congrats my friend! how did sully do btw? he is HUGE! but needs to get his legs up...his upper is soooooo far ahead of his lower...i dont know if he'll ever look right!
