MRD vs solid food

For some reason lately I've had no appetite in the morning. So I just drink a shake instead and have a solid meal 3 hours later. I ate some eggs just yesterday morning and I was just gaging on them.

For some reason it seems most advanced bodybuilders eat more solid food so I'm concerned about the amount of protein drinks I'm consuming. I wasn't always like this.

Is there a reason why solid food is better than the meal replacement drinks? Should I be concerned if I eat 2 or 3 solid meals a day and drink 4 or 5 MRDs?

I personally think it doesnt make a huge diff. For example. When bulking I would either eat 2 things in the morning.
When hungry i'd eat
6 eggs whole with a 1/4cup low fat cheese
2 bagles
40g whey.
totals roughly 75g protien,100carbs,50fat

if not hungry i'd have
75g whey
100 carbs from maltodextrine
3tbsp olive oil

so totals were the same but meal 2 was basically pure liquid. I saw no differences in gains.
 
sometimes u just can't eat solid food, then switch to MRP , it's ok

I prefer solid food BUT when u can't don't force it into ur mouth and take a liquid meal, it's ok
