MT2?

Anybody experiencing slight depression as a result of taking MT2? (Basel spray.)

Never felt depression but felt sluggish w/ nausea which was mild and passed in a few hours. (but that was with subq inj)

i've experienced depression while on Mt2, but i'd place my bets on it being from everything else i was taking at the time.
i mainly just get the flushing, yawning, and over all shit feeling for the first few injections.
but it is weird how some will get depression from drugs that are not known to cause it.
i get it from allergy meds for some reason, does not matter if it is allegra, zyrtec, benadryl, xyzol, claritin, etc. they all do it after a few weeks.

I get extremely down about a week or so after using PT141 which is a component of MT2 as I understand it.

I made a correlation a couple years ago and googled. Sure enough, there were a couple guys talking about depression following Pt141 usage.

I haven’t used MT2 in many many years but I definitely get some very weird mood drops from PT141.

Not depression but I'm not a very nice guy on it the first loading weeks either. When I used it I liked to take it every day before bed for 2 or 3 weeks and after those weeks just 1 or 2 shots a week would be sufficient. Not using it anymore tho, I really think it kinda made me an asshole haha.

Interesting. Sub’d as I was thinking about hopping on. The older I get the more I cherish just plain feeling good and in control of me - as a priority over whatever aesthetics I may garner from any drugs.

All I ever got from MT2 was stomach discomfort, random erections, new moles, Dark tan, warm feeling in my face after injections, itchy injection sites. That’s abt it for me..

Been taking it about 13 years straight with small breaks here and there never felt depressed from it.

How many pumps are you doing? I think they are 100mcg per?

Higher dosages def make me feel tired and shitty the next day. Not depressed or anything- just tired and "off".

I take 500mcg or 1mg a day before bed and rarely feel shitty the next day unless I couldn’t get any sleep for some reason

400mcg per day now. 66mcg per pump via nausea application, absorbing 50%? Just started. Not even one bottle. Not interested in another needle, hence the spray. Says it takes a bottle to fully ‘load.’ Looking for some protection from the sun. Lost lots of hide due to melanoma

The absorption could possible be higher so I'd maybe back off to 1/2 of what you are currently taking.

Not "depression" if anything it makes me feel a little tired after administration so I take it before bed.


However, I believe mt2 can upregulate dopamine receptors. Which could cause less dopamine release short term. Long term it could be helpful for overall receptor health though.

It inhibits cyclic guanosine monophosphate formation and decreases calcium-dependent dopamine release in the retina [103, 109]. Melatonin receptors are studied as neuroprotective drug targets. Melatonin has a neurogenic effect also through MT2 receptors [110]. Both receptors activate protein kinase C in the SCN and increase phosphorylation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase, which regulates dendritogenesis [111] and transcription of clock gene expression, such as PER1, and inhibit forskolin-stimulated cyclic adenosine monophosphate production."



I don't know for a fact but I would think this would increase nrem sleep. Possibly why it causes some to be tired, especially if on high androgens and your receptors are being downregulated.


I remember running it on tren and it helped me sleep.
