muscle cramps

a quick search yielded this before i head off to bed...

the last 6wks my calfs have been cramping, and now my hip flexors knot up whilst doing squats...not fun!!
cal/mag, l-taurine and bananas have done nothing...gunna back off the java for a week see if that helps...then up my sodium...

either way, that link is a mouth full!

how much taurine u using it as i find it to be the absolute best supp for cramping problems
 
Yea i found taurine to be great as well..

i have the same muscle cramps while working out and stuff...i took 2 grams before working out and some after or during as i needed it...

also ive been taking potassium and its helped with the cramps as well
 
sodium will help..

if you are cramping have a bottle of water with a lot of salt in it. Just take a few mouthful not the whole bottle ;) Cramping will be gone within 20mins at max.

in fact sodium is given in the ambulance as counter measure to severe cramping here in germany.
 
15 g's of taurine a day should work well but u may need more depending on what other supplements ur takin, i know anytime i take TTA, i need more taurine
 
why not max?

Exreme nausea, I puked after 2 sets of heavy squats after every time I used it, even at low dose, okay for on stage, but for cramping during leg workouts, taurine, magnesium, sodium, potassium, pedialite, etc....
