Muscle fullness

Who here notices how some days you walk around with full muscle and the next day you look flat? Is it due to dehydration or carbs or all the above? I’ve heard a multitude of ideas.

I know it’s a stupid question, but input, please.

All the above, yes. Especially if your macros fluctuate during the day, off gear or on gear

It can be a lot of things, lack of hydration, less or more sodium, excess carbs, depletion from a brutal workout, etc…

I haven’t changed anything except I feel dehydrated after taking cold meds. It’s like you can’t quench your thirst.

If the cold meds had anti inflammatories in them that definitely does it to me, feels like i just deflate

Never flat.

I always looked and felt fuller, and the muscles felt 'tighter' the next day.
I was on no supps of any kind. No special diet. Just training briefly, very
hard and infrequently . . . every other day.

Actually, no anti inflammatories. I try to steer clear unless absolutely necessary.

I’m going to add Glycerine in, and add more him salt to my diet. Hopefully that works.

Glycerol definitely helps me and IMO most bodybuilders would benefit from additional salt. Especially pre workout. Great pumps

I’ve never used it as far as I’m aware. Most pre-workout lack sufficient amounts. Plus I’m not a pre-workout user. I might pop some extra caffeine with Green Tea and go from there.

I buy it by the gallon for about 25 dollars on Amazon. I mix 4-5 tbl with a bunch of water and some pink lemonade crystal lite and whatever else you want. Taurine, eaas, creatine, karboaload, etc and pop a caffeine tab with it as a pre Intra drink

Liquid is better. I thought it had to be in a powdered form. Never paid attention to it.
