At the moment I am training at home due to lockdown and I usually put on something like Disturbed when training. I also love Hans Zimmer (Batman trilogy etc). I just stick you-tube on most of the time. The other day I listened to this which is quite good when turned up...

Really enjoyed Hans Zimmer's work on the last Blade Runner movie and also the classic, Rain Man. If you like Hans Zimmer, you must like Harold Faltermeyer (Fletch, The Running Man, and the Beverly Hills Cop series). I'd also suggest one of my favorite soundtracks of all time, To Live & Die In LA which was scored completely by the incredibly underrated Wang Chung. That soundtrack is a real masterpiece.

The new Chevelle song "self destructor" is a jam. I didn't care for it all that much at first but it's grown on me. Here's a few other songs added to my Gym Workout list on Spotify:

Psalm 69 was one of the greatest albums of the 90's (IMO). I grew up with that cassette. They were great live too.

well it depends on what you mean by that. is this a thread to criticize others musical choices or simply a thread to share what others might be listening to to discover new music. I on occasion get tired of metal (tool, slayer, sabbath, zeppelin are my favorites). sadomaschocism, satanism, the occult, and the glorification of serial killers and murder gets old sometimes and I need something more controversial like real thought and opinion that goes against mainstream media and our elected officials for that is what is now deemed controversial. this songs gives me fucking chills, songs that elicit emotion are what motivates me.
