i have not had my tests done for a little while.. my wife wanted to get more life insurance for the both of us since we now have two kids.. so one early morning a little old lady was knocking at my door wanting me to piss and take my blood.. so i gave it to her..so here is the good news..creatinine (1.1) bun (14) glucose (101) bood pressure 120/78..
now the bad news...total cholesterol (268) hdl (33) and the ldl could not be calculated because my triglycerides were (620)..620???? what the f@#@!!...i have since could my doctor and had a discussion with him and he is upset that they did not tell us to fast for 12 hours.. hell, i ate right bfore i went to bed and she was here right when i woke up.. i am getting another test done next week and maybe things will be different..if not.. it is time to start watching my diet more. (i eat mcdonalds like crazy) and dropping bodyfat down to the 12% range and stop the "i am bulking up" shit..i want to hold all the muscle i can but, i am starting to look like louie anderson..

Typically, there is no special preparation involved in a cholesterol-screening test. You should follow your usual eating habits before your cholesterol screening, unless you are having a test that measures triglycerides. In that case, fasting for 12 hours before the test is required.
 
well, i have only myself to blame.. i have been clean for about 4 months.. maybe a little longer.. i have not lifted in quite a while because of injuries and just burnout.. so i have not been eating like i should.. where as i used to only eat subway and things like that when i was wating fast food, i now , over the last 4 months been eating mcdonalds, hardees ect.. and that is every day practically everyday....i have been eating only two-three times a day and two of those are fast food.. and when my wife cooks it is usaully high fat foods because when i was lifting i would only eat chicken breast ect,, now, anything goes.. phil and i have said this before but, thank god for genetics.. i have not gotten too bad but, i know i have but on some added fat and lost muscle.. it is only natural..have to remember just because you are looking good on the outside does not mean the inside is looking good..i start to lift again on weds and am cleaning up the diet today..just 8 months ago i had my cholest checked while on gear and it was 190...but, the diet was good and i was actively lifting..my oh my how things change..:eek:

hry bro be happy you can eat like that and not get too fat. if i do that, i would gain 1 pound per day maybe 2. i have to diet just to maintain a 13-14% BF. its ridiculous. thats if im not on t3, clen. dnp. actually, if i dont eat clean, my face never stays lean, its always bloated from the carbs.
