I am at 7.5 weeks out now and out of fixed splint(90 degrees). Wore splint for about 5 weeks (really only about 3.5 and night got too uncomfortable and just wore basic sling) Opened splint daily 2-3 times for mobility and increased 20 degrees each week. (1st week extended to 70, then 50 then 30 and 10) Did about 10 extensions several times a day. Started strengthening exercises at 6 weeks and went great. Basic routines in gym with lighter weights 15-25 for other body parts. (I did want to see if I could tolerate pressing movements and managed 275 for 8 on bench with no pain, but I could tell that affected shoulder was weaker from little use) For biceps just isolated dumbell curls with 5 lb weights for 25. At this point i really dont get much of a contraction, but more of a cramping feeling but muscle control is better everyday.
Note that the first 2 weeks or so there was alot of pain with any rotation of wrist, but healing has progressed quickly.
Also, My surgery was done with single incision on inside of forearm with Endobutton technique. The surgery in the origional post was 2 incision and technique of attachment was different.
