Unfortunately my chick doesnt respond well to the pill,shot,etc..... but its ok b/c we have a 2day on/1off rule. I can either choose head or sex. About 90% of the time I chose head God im lazy.

There are a few BC's that she may try:
one is called Nuva Ring. It's a ring you insert in your vagina for 3 weeks then remove on the 21st day. then 7 days without it to have your period. It has a very low dosage of hormones so, there is little if any side effects.

another is called Alesse BC and is one of the most effective methods for birth control (99% effective)

birth control pills are made of estrogen and a progestin mix. There has been a better study and effect with just using the "progestin" part of it. Think of it as a minipill. The reason why it works so well is they work by making cervical mucus thicker so sperm cannot get to the egg, and by making the lining of the uterus thinner.

there is another pill that is fairy new it starts with an "A" but crap I can't think of the name to save my life, when I do I will try to post it back up. It is however a bit expensive right now but the sides are very low on it.

The rhythm method of birth control is a plan of avoiding sexual contact during the time of the month when the woman can become pregnant. The main problem with this method is knowing when is that time of the month!

Usually the woman's cycle is 28 days. Day 1 is the first day of her period. Day 29 is the first day of her next period. Between day 1 and 28 there is an egg released from the woman's ovaries (ovulation) which enters the uterus through the fallopian tub es. If there happens to be sperm around during the time the egg is passing through the fallopian tubes into the uterus, the sperm and egg may get together and make a baby. For many women, the egg is released on day 14. Since both sperm and eggs can hang around for a while, this means that you should avoid sexual contact (especially unprotected sexual intercourse) from about day 9-10 until day18-20 (or so). And that is only if the woman is regular in her ovulation BUT many women aren't regular.

In order to practise the rhythm method successfully, women must become very familiar with their cycle and signs of ovulation (mucus discharge, a slight increase in temperature etc). Also women and their partners have to be very diligent in not having sex ual contact during those times of the cycle.
