Hey guys my HRT doc charges me $700 ($65 per month) a year which covers script renewal, blood work reading and personal phone calls to discuss monthly blood work or bi monthly work. That $700 is not covered by insurance. And it doesnt include the cost of pins and my testosterone from the pharmacy which is $15 per month with copay. My question is this, do endocrinologists or general practitioners charge as much as my doc does? Cant I just get scripts for my testosterone and go pick them up with my copay without my doc's pockets getting fat at $700 per year...especially when i only get blood work every couple months now, it was initially more until we found my therapeutic dose.
