Hi all. I just joined and wanted to introduce myself. I'm recently 50 years old, 6'3", 208 lbs (down from 240 about a year ago). I started working out again about six weeks ago with a pro bodybuilder as trainer. When I started with him, I was 225 lbs, 23% BF. My initial goals are to get to around 10% BF and retain/gain as much muscle as possible. That's working well so far.
Longer term goals are to add serious muscle and try to average around 8-10% BF. I'm not looking to compete, just wanting to finally see that six-pack and look good. Call this my response to a mid-life crisis if you will. I'd rather spend the money and energy this way than on a sports car.
I'm sure I'll have questions along the way. My trainer is busy as hell and doesn't have much free time away from the gym so it's hard to talk about things like peptides and AAS.
Thanks for putting so much good information together as a starting point. I've got a lot of reading to do.
