After taking a a couple months of from worrying about diet or supps I am now ready to begin to make the move up to lightheavy weight...More than likely I will do the tournament of champions next Sept...Or if things go quicker than expected maybe the Orange Countys, but I doubt I will have the size I need by then...

I will be keeping this journal updated as much as possible with pics, video, training, etc...

Goal is to get up to around 210 and still be fairly lean prolly a little leaner than I am in these pics..Main focuses or on chest, hams, calves, arms..But overall everything needs improvement...

In these pics I am 5-9 @ 193lbs

just posting a few pics for now to get the thread going...

All back and a Bi shot. hmm. Pics taken on Back day huh? lol. Hey atleast you can post pics right now. I'd need to take panaoramick photos to get my fat ars in the shot. Your strength has been up lately. You have a great starting point to make the needed gains. I think that if you want to make that transition to the lightheavies, you should wait till the Tourn. of Champ. Don't rush it. Let that muscle mature. Hopefully we can get more workouts in.

No not back day, I just dont wanna make everyone sick to see me from the front..I'll wait a few weeks to post full body shots..:D

you doin legs tomorrow or is your back still broken..

both my little girls are doin just fine...Growing up too fast...I should be 4% year round as much as they got me runnin around...maybe thats why I dont do cardio at the gym..

As far as training goes I go heavy for 6-8 reps, plain and simple...

Sunday - Legs
Barbell squats
barbell lunges, or leg press, or hacks
leg ext.
calves- giant set- donkeys, standing calf, bodyweight calve raises

Mon. Chest
Incline smith
inc dumbell
Flat flys superset with strive chest press

Tues..Off

Wednesday - back
chins or reverse pull downs
Dumbell rows or barbell rows
close grip pull downs
wide grip cybex pull downs
rack deads
calves Giant set

Thursday - shoulders & hams
dumbell press or smith press
side laterals
bent lateralls
stiff leg deads
leg curl
single leg curl

Friday - Bi's and Tris
Barbell curl superset/ overhead dumbell ext.
dumbell preacher superset/skull crushers
hammer curl superset/tri. pressdown

Saturday - Off

Diet should look something like this..

1 cup oats, 2 scoops whey
chicken breast on wheat
2 scoops whey
8 oz ground beef 3 med. red potatos
pre workout
peanuts and glycoload
post workout
carbo force
After this its about 6:30 or 7pm and I just eat anything and everything

You should do very well as a lightheavy...Coming in hard like you can in the 190 range and you should be killing them in the TOC...Next up after that is Nats, right ???

based upon your picture, and looking at your training, you need to amp up the chest training.
Try this for a month.
Still once a week
Week 1
Flat barbell bench
barbell incline
Dumbell flat bench
dumbell flyes incline
Week 2
Inline barbell bench
Smith Flat bench
Dumbell Incline bench
machine flyes
repeat.
You will find attacking the chest with different routines will bring balance, as well as continues growth.
give it a shot...

Thanks Chris..Yes Definetly Nats...

Tflexxin - I started out doing barbell bench a month ago But i tweaked my shoulder a bit..nothing serious but enough so that it makes it hard to lift a moderate weight, thats why I have been sticking to smith...But as soon as this pain is gone I will be on both barbell flat and Incline...Thanks..
