My New (old) Colt 1911

I traded my unfired Sig Tac Pac R 1911 for this Model 80 with a custom trigger job. Its in great condition. I'm not sure it was a great deal for me. Opinions?

But I have been wanting another Colt since I "sold" my unfired Gold Cop AND a like new GP100 to my friend for $500 nearly 15 years ago. I did it to make my fiance (now my wife) happy. She hates guns. Hates.

My friend continues to refuse to sell them back now that I don't have to be nice to my wife anymore. I have about 15 guns. The honeymoon is long over. But we love each other. And she still hates my guns. If I die she says she is going to give them all away. I gotta find me a newly widowed wife of a life time NRA member.

My friend is also my HRT doc so I owe him a lot more than a couple of deeply discounted guns. But he is still an asshole.

I'm gonna write a country song about the above. It cant be any worse than any other country music. "My wife aint liking my gun" NASCAR Rules!! God Bless America!!!

Cant say it was a bad trade if you wanted a colt you got it ..Just the unfired thing is odd these machines are meant to throw lead down range!

LOL..... one of my biggest fears is that if I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them. Except my Kimber, I'm being buried with my Pro Carry II at my side just in case the afterlife isn't all it's cracked up to be.

BTW- If you have anymore Gold cups to get rid of just let me know!

Use to have a nice Springfield Armory 1911, with a customs handle, trigger, and extended clips...Was a great 45! Liked it almost as much as the Sig Sauer P250 sub compact 45 I had.....

Check out the 460 rowland conversions. Bought one for one of my 1911's and it's a monster!

I converted my XD 45 to 460 Rowland and I'm very happy with it. My handloaded 200 gr RNFP are moving along at 1450 fps producing right at 970 ft lbs of energy!
