Those are some nice bikes man, but for the money why don't you just have someone build one to your specs. Thats some money to drop on a bike and go to bike week and see 100 of them. The good thing I would say about those rides though is the warranty those bikes bring. Check out clubchopper.com...those guys know thier shit over there and a few custom shops advertise there. If I knew how to resize some pics I would post some shots of my ride...its nothing big, but it turns heads. Hit me up..I'm always down for some bike talk.
HEY feelnfit I like the big dogs too, but I can only afford a Harley superglide which I should be getting soon. I thought about a custom but was told by a fellow biker buddy that they can be a real pain to register at DMV. Also the money is definetly a factor there. That dog looks nice though, also I can only ride from May to October here (Northeast), so I can't see getting a custom til I move south or west in a few years. And my girl likes to ride with me so a one seater won't cut it.
Def gotta love the custom choppers... I'll probly be getting one of those once I get a house and have the $$... for now I'm looking into an '05 ZX12... I'm a bit addicted to the speed... 197mph... now that's living... no knocks on the choppers though, if you're gonna go on a cruise thats what you want to be riding, not really fast enough to ride all the time for me though...
But I really LOVE my HOG! I can only ride for a few months here since Chicago weather really sucks, so I like that I'm able to throw my stuff in the bags and go to work...........Anniversary Edition Road King Classic
|--[\\\]>-------- Living down here you see all types of cool bikes, we have Bourgette (sp) who resides here and has a couple of shops down here...i heard his bikes were pretty popular.
i am going to a bike show this spring if i can find one close by. they just had one here a few months ago. i use to work with a guy that quit to open his own bike shop . maybe give him a call. he started it several years ago when custom bikes had not pick up as today so i donot know if he is still in bussiness.
From what I've seen down here the Big Dogs are about the same price as a stock Harley unless your talkin Sportster. If you were to hit Daytona or Sturgis when all the Bike Week stuff is hitting I'll bet you could get a better deal on a custom so the wouldn't have to haul them back. Anyone checked out the Victory Bikes? J.R.
victory bikes are too pricey for the bike itself. you can get a custom almost as well as a full dress harley for their price. jesse james or occ for them big bucks$$$$$$$$$$$. occ, s got the big head since they are hot news now...
