My Outback trip

Just got back from spending a week driving a 4x4 accross the outback for 4,000miles.

It was half dirt road half sealed.

This is what a sealed road looks like in the outback - goes forever:

The most phenomenal beach I have ever been on.

As I am driving, all alone, with noone around, I hear this tooting noise - I look over my shoulder and I see this train there saying hello to me - I didn't even realise there was a train track there!

How does this rate on the weirdometer? This lake was pink and the water looked like a strawberry milkshake and had the same consistency! Locals reckon some kind of algae.

the Outback looks like an amazing place, the one of the beach s just unbeleivable. If we had a place like that here it would be elbow to elbow with people.

Wow...what a road trip.

I take it you guys had your own fuel with you?? How long did it take you and where you guys campin out or stayin in the small towns?
