My Senator's Response ......

I received a response from my senator (or atleast someone that is returning his emails, hehe) about the Biden's Steroid Legislation. He stated that John Sweeney has proposed a newer bill call H.R. 207 with even tougher penalties.

The response was not your general, 'thank you for responding' type of email, either. He actually referred to several things that I wrote in my original email to him so I feel better that he took the time to respond to me.

Who the hell is John Sweeney and does anyone know about this H.R. 207 Bill??

House Bill H.R. 207 (The anti-andro bill) will criminalize even the
possession of progesterone, DHEA, melatonin, or other hormones,
precursors or metabolites and is the beginning of the end for all health supplements.

This bill will take away HGH, pregnenolone, progesterone, and possibly all phytoestrogens and glandulars. Because it supposedly protects teens from androstenedione it has a good chance for approval.

With the latest THG scandel I can see this bill being pushed harder!

I just don't understand why? I just don't understand. There has to be some hidden thing behind all of the hormone scandal. Why the big issue and making laws against them. Has a bunch of people died from use?

I wish more people would. If this bill passes we are really screwed. And thats even if we don't take precursur based hormonal substances. What it sounds like to me is the air on the hill is that this bill will pass. Dear God if it does!! Can you believe it??? Progesterone is a friggin naturally occuring hormone. Hell the only precurer to it is damn near cholesterol. They'd take out our gonads if they could the slimey bastards!!!

If these things are illegal to possess then what would be the reason for not going the extra mile to get AS? Sounds like another reason to ignore the law and just take your chances on the black market.

Ive written to that idoit Sweeny-hes a Rep from NY state. He was one of the two originators of the 'tougher laws' bills about 1yr ago or so.
For aynone who doesnt understand why its being done, here are the lame reasons (or excuses):
The save the children angle. Or course it would make sense to regulate this just as we do with tobacco and alcohol. But its add fuel to the more important (to the govt) reason; To help regulation of orginized sport. Its not enough to just punish the caught (cheating) offender with the usual slap on the wrist. They must force the issue on the entire citizenship who dont have any involvment whatsoever in the sports being regulated. So the athlete caught by testing gets the slap on the wrist (a small suspension or warning) and the citizen get tossed in jail. This is where the complete lack of logic and injustice comes in!!!
