Myostatin stops your gains on long AAS cycles?

The finding of this study is that during Testosterone Supplementation, myostatin increases a lot by week 8 of T administration. Does it prove that there is no point running cycles longer than 8 weeks? A lot of people find that their gains in mass and strength stall a lot after 8-9 weeks on cycle.

In men treated with graded doses of testosterone, myostatin levels were significantly higher on day 56 than baseline in both young and older men; changes in myostatin levels were significantly correlated with changes in total and free testosterone in young men.

I think a lot of guys don’t up the calories as they should throughout the cycle.. so when they get to week 8 and they’ve added 15lbs they don’t think they need to up the food to get back to a caloric surplus.

If I could do it all over again, I would never stay on longer than 8 weeks of any blast. That being said, I do think there is something to be said for raising the food intake like the gentleman above me (manilla) stated.

That's why a lot of us change compounds 6-8 weeks in or adding more gear, more food, training intensity etc.
 
Yea i think there are ways around it. Ultimately when progress slows down its time to go back to the drawing board.

You change compounds or up your dosages to get another month or so out of it. I do feel like u get the best results staying on for 8 weeks then coming off for 6 to let myostatin go back to baseline.
