Hey everyone,
I am torn on an issue that I'd love some help on. I've been reading alot lately about how cardio/aerobic workouts breaks into necessary protein that is a must for muscle development/growth.
I normally do 30-40 min of intense cardio after each strength training day workout - is this a smart move or should I be keeping intense cardio workouts to 1 day a week on a 3 day workout schedule.
I read from multiple sources that strength training/weights will aide in fat loss cause of the 'afterburn' effect, where as Cardio burns fat at that moment but also uses the protein that the muscles need, hindering muscle growth.
My goal is athletic thick vs bodybuilder thick.
Thanks for your time guys,
