I used to need donating blood every 2 months to keep my HCT below 50, now once in 6 months suffices. Works for me.
I looked into it before for the same purpose and chose not to. It inhibits absorption of too many important things and it doesn't seem to benefit for hematocrit much.

Naringin is a weak inhibitor of selective isoenzymes, such as CYP34A/2D9/2D6. There's some interplay between Naringin and P-glycoprotein metabolism. That's a topic in itself. The active component responsible in GFJ (grapefruit juice) is Furanocoumarins/Bergapten. These two are more of a potent inhibitor of CYP3A4, more so than Naringin. That's if we're discussing GFJ.
As for as Narginin effects on lowering one's HH. I wouldn't waste my time, effort or money.
