nasty lump after injecting

Hi all,

so I'm just coming to the end of my 2nd cycle, been happy with the results, life is good.

However I pinned some hCG on Tuesday and made a bit of an arse of it. I think I pinned it in the fat, and not subQ. It's left a gross little lump about the size of a pea under the skin, and is starting to bruise.

I've had lumps after subQ injections before but they've always gone down really fast, whereas this one doesn't show any signs of shrinking and now it's bruising I am starting to get a little worried.

Should I just wait it out? It's not really all that uncomfortable, just a little gross, so I'm happy to do that. If I need to aspirate it though, I'd rather do that sooner than later just in case it gets nasty.

In the fat is sub q. Sub cutaneous just means under the skin

Btw, it happens to me all the time, I think sometimes I inject too quickly and that causes me to bruise. I wouldn't worry

right guys I know I said I wouldn't freak out, and I'm not freaking out, but the lump is STILL THERE after over a week since the injection.

Surely there's something not right about this now? There's no redness or anything...

Has it gotten bigger or smaller?

The longest I've had one is about a week. See if a hot pack or some massage will help break some of it up.

it hasn't changed size or character, and only hurts if I poke it really hard. There's no redness or anything

I've had those type of knots or lumps last up to two weeks. If its not hot or red I wouldn't worry at all.

Heat helps

Heat compress has been helping me tremendously whenever I have any swelling

If it's been reconstituted for too long it will cause a somewhat painful injection.
