Nasty wrist/lower forearm pain!!!!!

i wont say it hurts REALLY bad but it bothers me, especially when i have to bench or something, i have to resort to machines now which sucks. do you guys have any remedies/tips to give me? this is my first minor injury and i want to continue lifting as i am on a cut currently.
was planning on buying wrist wraps but iv heard that that wont help....HELP!
 
You're not giving much of a description. Did you hurt your wrist doing something or is it tendinitis? If you're not cutting for a show, and it is tendinitis, I would stay away from exercises that bother it and let it heal! Tendinitis can be hard as hell to get rid of!! Try ice and nsaid's for now. Good luck!!!

im not sure if it's tendinitis, i believe this pain came from benching powerlifting style and heavy. i am cutting for a show and i want to work around it because i can't afford to stop lifting for 2 weeks or whatever. only my left forearm/wrists hurt and my right arm is fine. it is really pissin me off as i am losing motivation in the gym because of it

that's where it's hurting, like anything i do like push or pull something or even try and flex my bicep, the pain comes up........im not sure what it is but it's not getting any better and i keep lifting cuz im currently in pre contest mode

all wayslurknever post but i saw this, you probably have tendonitis and / or TFCC. Its the worst, I started had it on one wrist got a cortisone shot and stayed away from the gym for almost 4 months.

Got back to the gym and was working out with a full Wrist splint from a medical supply store very tight to stablize it. It was working well. So as of last week I'm getting the same pain in my other wrist!! So i got the matching full splint for the other side. I do not want to get a cortisone shot in that side and i can't stay away from lifting. I also sleep with these braces on as suggested by my doctor. Some days its really painful some days not so bad. Simple things like turning a key hurt. If you go to a specialist they can do the TFCC test and give you a good guess without having to get MRI.

I take ibprofen everyday , it seems to help.
 
Seems to be what I had years ago in college when I was lifting really heavy. Turned out it was tendonitis. Only way for it to get better is to take some time off and ease back into it.
I don't lift real heavy any more either.
 
if you can't take time off just tape your wrists bro. I had this exact same thing happen to me (same wrist) when I was playing football. couldn't take off so I just taped them up, helped out alot.
