Well it's still getting aired on tv and that is one step in the right direction. Although professional bodybuilding will never appeal to our culture anymore I think it should at least get the coverage and air time the worlds strongest man does. 'Cough cough' ESPN....

As long as my only source not being bb.com with their 240p potato camera quality I'm happy.

But the real question is....what kind of commercials are they going to air during this? Think about it. Not that many supplement companies can afford TV, bodybuilders are too broke because of all the shit they purchase so no luxury stuff, and you can't have AAS commercials.

Wait, oh I hope to god that they do nothing but to air TRT and viagra commercials. I will laugh so fucking hard, it would be priceless.

It is sad that the first Mr.Olympia Larry Scott is no longer with us to share a few words about his sport and how it has grown. I would hope that NBC does this correctly and interviews some former Mr.Olympia greats and not just Maria Shriver's ex.

To everyone thinking you won't have to stream...you will. They will be airing 2 specials on the Mr.Olympia 3 and 4 weeks AFTER the competition, in mid-late October.


So it's not replacing bb.com, but it is still a huge step for the industry. Will be cool to rewatch it on TV a month later!
