neck bump from squats?

The EliteFTS Safety squat bar would work. The Rogue version safety bar sucks. The Transformer squat bar is also very good.

dude i havent even used an olympic bar in who knows how long.
i dont live in the states, the home gyms on here are better then the comercial gyms i go to.
 
I thought that is just called the squat Knot.
I know exactly what you’re talking about.

Old man in me now like the hack squat and the SSB with the front handles and big foam pad.

Even Mike Tyson used the sissy pad.

i dont think anyone calls it a puss pad when he uses it.

High bar on left and low bar on right

You are sitting the bar too high on your shoulders. Try resting it slightly lower and more on the traps. Powerlifters rest it even lower and more on the rear delts but that’s not going to build your quads as much.

So I purchased the Neck Pad (AKA The Pussy Pad) and tried it last night when doing squats. I lasted one warm up set before throwing that thing to the side and doing the rest of my workout with out it.

I dont know how people use this thing, it was like doing squats with a pillow taped around the bar. I couldnt feel the weight and the bar did not feel secure, it easily shifted around and felt like it could fall off at any time. I will live with the neck pain and hopefully it goes away over time. Maybe this pad is just way too thick.
