What are you guys doing specifically to train the neck? My gym shitcanned my fav old school seated hammer neck machine. I have neglected the neck for a few years, but wanna start hitting it again. I know those old ass skull cages exist where you hang the weights on the chain, but wanted some additional options. Anybody out there getting those thick necks with the help of a machine or apparatus ?

Tbh the chain with the hanging weights works amazing . laying down with a folded towel on your head with a plate works also bridges are great . give had a massive neck , almost 21 " when I wrestled and fought

I measure mine a few weeks ago and it's a legit 20". I've built mine with shrugs and rack deadlifts on a Smith machine, heavy weights at 8-12 reps. I know in early 2016 it was 18" at a bit higher body fat than I am now, but I was also 40-50lbs. lighter than I am now.

I had a head harness you could hang weights from for neck training ~7 years ago and used it for maybe 3 months, that's the only direct neck training I've ever done. I did have naturally broad shoulders many years before lifting so maybe I had a bigger than average neck as well.
