need some advice... bad peptide reaction.

this happened about a year and a half ago, my second week on igf-1 my face started swelling up. it was the worst around my cheek bones by my eye going all the way back to my side burns but it was all over. remember the movie shrek? well thats what i looked like, plus it was un even.



it took months for it to start going down and its pretty much back to normal now except sometimes i hold a lot of water in my face, it doesnt have anything to do with my diet it just randomly comes and goes. and i still have some of the swelling around my cheek bones that goes back to my side burns, and its hard. if i take a lasix it gets rid of a lot of the water but my cheeks stay swelled.


ive seen 4 doctors about it and they arent any help. what should i do?

My bro was using I think Lr3 Igf and it did do something to his jaw so he stopped using it. I know you're saying its not related to diet but maybe its sodium? Anyways he's fine.

Well it was more likely some cheap IGF-1 with some left over solvents or chemicals in it. I would continue to go to Drs. until you find one that will help. Fess up to what you did so they have something to work with.

well one of the symptoms of IGF-1 is facial swelling (soft tissue swelling)???? Might help... I don't use peptides.

can you give more details about what it did to his jaw? ive done low sodium, high sodium, it doesnt seem to make a difference. its weird it just comes and goes. like today it went down after being puffy for awhile, my face looks more slim and is holding less water and i havent changed my diet at all.

yep, when i talk to doctors about it they act clueless, one of them was my endo and he just said it was probably soft tissue swelling and it would go down. it has, but i know something is up because so much time has passed and im still having issues. now that i think about it, its been longer than a year and a half its been 2 years. i remember reading somewhere that you shouldnt admit this type of stuff to the doctor because it could cause problems with insurance is that true? i have told all of the doctors what i took though. i wish i knew what kind of doctor to see.

I know this truly sucks as I am dealing w/ something similar. Have you seen a dermatologist? A wise woman on this site suggested that to me!
