Hoping for some help trying to figure out what's going on with some pain I'm getting in both shoulders.

I took a 3 year break from training because of a busy career, life and some laziness. I've been been back training hard for 8 months now with good results and have gained back what I lost.

3 months in as I started getting stronger, I started experiencing pain in both shoulders while performing pressing excercises and during recovery. Today I felt like both shoulders were going to dislocate while performing the first few reps with 75lb dumbells, it gets better reps 3-10. 100lb for 10 reps has been no problem in the past

The pain feels like a cross between a severe pump and tendinitis. I don't thinks its a specific injury where its in both shoulders. 3-5 days after training its so painful to put a jacket on or take it off. But the pain does go away after rest.

Shoulder have always been my best body part, strength and size. So this is really bothering me. I'm currently on a test prop 700mg wk and primo 800mg wk cycle. I just ordered tb500 and bpc from Q here. Going to give this a try.

Can anyone here Relate or offer any sugestions as this is really affecting my training and recovery. I've had to reduce my workouts to 3 times a week in this past month.

I'm 40yo 210 lbs with low body fat don't want to guess a % not sure.

personally, i would go get looked it. i had shoulder surgery about 6 years ago, and the symptoms kind of sound familiar. i ignored it for about 3 years though and just kept training. i ended up having a torn labrum, structural damage and an infected bursa sac.

my advice is go get looked at by an orthopedist who specializes in shoulders.

Do you happen to use the smith machine for any pressing movements?

1. Dont go so deep with benches, especially inclines.
2. Use a wider bench.
3. Pain resisting palm up pressure is shoulder dislocation
4. Pain with pressure pushpalm up pull ups is bicep tendon.
5. Pain with deep benching can be DOC, Arthritis of the AC joint. Shoot the T500 or GHRP there.

Start with a simple Xray.

6. Also common is the infraspinatus trigger point. Look on you tube for Rx.
It sends pain to the front of delts and biceps.

I had the same pain you are describing and it ended up being bone spurs. I had surgery on both shoulders in the same year and it was a good move. the recovery was easy as long as you keep up with therapy.

I would go see a doctor just to be sure man. Shoulder injuries can become chronic and very painful in the long-term. I had the same problem years ago and took me a long time to recover, though I did add ostarine to aid that recovery.:D 6 years later I feel much better.

Don't want to sound like a jack ass... But being the guy that made these mistakes im just gonna ask a few questions
1) do you do any simple shoulder rehab type workouts (think in terms of 5lbs Dumbbells) ?
2) do you stretch your shoulder and pecs ?
3) a lot of us are front heavy and build big chest and shoulders and ignore the back which causes a lot of front pulling which literally is constant tension pulling the shoulder forward.... How much rear delt and back work do you do ?

I do 2.5 lb plate for 20 front, side, and around rotator raises each arm
and i do stretches before working out.

what do u mean by rehab workouts? in place of my regular heavy workout?

I agree with both John & KB, wider grip on pressing movements will but less stress on your shoulders. Also, having the same pain issues a few months ago, I stretch daily using a 20lb resistance band doing 100 overhead pull apart reps a day. This is DeFrancos less shoulder stress method. I have also increased my fish oil intake.

injuries suck.. I hate them.

hope you recover brother.

I have found deloading helpful in keeping injuries away

You certainly don't want this to end up worse than it could potentially already be, so first off I would go get examined by a professional. If you find out its nothing serious, I would consider using lighter weights for a period of time while it recuperates and recovers. Sometimes that's really what our bodies need after beating them up so badly for so long, especially when you get up there in age (which I am myself). I've also found Ostarine to be very helpful for my own personal shoulder injuries in the past

Thanks for the advise! I will see a specialist as I don't want to do long term damage. It just seems weird that it just recently started and I have no pain once I'm recovered from a workout.

I'm also going to look in ostarine. Like I said I have tb500 & bpc157 thats being delivered today.

I did chest yesterday and this morning I had no strength to lift my arms above my shoulders. I did 75mcgs of igf lr3 in each front delt and within an hour my strength seemed to be back 90%.

I Concur with everyone who said to see a specialist. I am lucky my insurance covers an awesome local sports medicine doctor, one who believes surgeries are a LAST resort. To make a long story short, i had microscopic tears i was told on my right shoulder tendons. basically my form was off on a front delt exercise(2 yrs ago)...very painful. Make a long story short, the sports doc sent me to physical therapy, went for a month, no progress. Did my homework, bought a 99% pure unscented DMSO gel, applied it to shoulder 2 times a day at least, dosed BPC-157 250 mcg/day into various parts of the right delt. Felt less pain at the end of first week. @ more weeks of dosing like this(3 weeks total) i went back to the gym, trained no problems...less poundages just to be safe. The KEY is not to stop putting DMSO on that area for months to come. Don't stop because pain is gone, you will re-injure quick if it is not completely healed. I have an entire book on DMSO with studies showing its results. BPC is feaken amazing!! Good luck!!

i would stop lifting and go seek a medical opinion immediately.if you continue to lift through the pain wihtout finding out the root of the cause, you can damage it alot worse.
