need some help with the daughter

OK Sydney is 3 yrs old and the past few days she has had a fever of 100-104 we took her to the dr, and she is sitting in the hospital right now they say she has an infection, they did labs and all that jazz and the dr. comes back and says her hormone levels are crazy the best way to say it is she is 3 going on 15 she has alaways been a big kid not fat just tall she is in a size 6 ??? wtf is going on should I tell the dr i was on gear when me and mom played dr?? what kind of meds will they give a 3yr old to postpone this ??? please help !!!!

Wow, to be honest with you, this may be a question only a Specialist can answer. All I can tell you is what I would do if it were one of my three girls. I would be truthful with the Dr, whether it be in private, or with your wife. There would be nothing stopping me from getting my girls the best treatment in the quickest way possible. Although, I don't think your useage is related, you never know. At least by telling your Dr., you will have the peace of mind that you did the right thing. I pray they find what is wrong with her and wish for a quick recovery. Please keep us posted on her outcome.

Being on AAS has when your wife got pregnant has zero effect on the offspring. It does not change the genetic make up of your sperm.

It is completely unrelated unless you were using test gel or something like that and it got on your wife's skin while she was pregnant.

So try to think of any possible ways your wife or your child could have come into contact with hormones. It has nothing to do with you getting her pregnant while on them though.

I have heard of cases of a person's child eating some of their oral steroids or getting the test gel on them from climbing on dad's workout equipment. These are freak incidents are very unlikely.

More than likely, it is pure coincidence that your child is having hormonal issues and you messed with hormones yourself while conceiving her.

my wife started puberty at a VERY early age and she asked our doctor about my daughter and was told not to worry,they have meds that can delay the onset of puberty as long as needed.

You should bring it up but (although I'm not a doctor) I guarantee your daughter's condition has nothing to do with the gear you were on so don't blame yourself bro. In any case, hope she heals up fast!

PM Alpha(whatevernumberheuses) our local doc on here and ask him if you dont want to discuss it directly with your doc. Afterall he is a DR and we arent. Hes honest and always willing to help members.

My daughter was on Lupron for a while to delay early puberty. One shot a month in the thigh. I highly doubt your usage had anything to do with it.

thanks guys for the help and I know for sure sydney never got into any of my stuff and my wife is well aware of what I use and the doses. I never keep anything in reach, and the dr.was saying there are meds to delay the onset so I guess we will see what he wants to do and note this in one of the top ten doctors in the US . since 1.5 yrs ago Sydney got C-diff and spent a few days in the hospital because of that now she only see this doctor when she is sick.
He (the dr.) has called an endo to see what he thinks since there are getting mixed labs back but again thanks guys I'll keep ya in the loop on how my daughter is doing and the out come......

English - Stick with the doctors advice. I have been in the pharmaceutical industry for many years and I don't see how your daughters situation could have originated from your use. Really. But with that said, focus on what the people who went to medical say. Best wishes.


About 5 years ago I took my daughter to a pediatric oncologist after all the tests and all the previous doctors led us to believe it was Leukemia. The Oncologist said, yes it appears to be Leukemia, she was going to run a final blood test and then admit her to the hospital the next morning for chemo etc. We were told to wait in the cafeteria and she would call us with the results in about 2 hours. One learns what HELL is.

She called, - my daughter had the flu and it wacked out her blood work. All is well.

Try to remain optimistic and patient.

do you own research on everything! They recommend a drug, research it, know that drug, procedure, w/e they wanna do inside out better than dr. My son was born premie at 1lb 15oz and the dr`s are retarded! They are all trained at pharmaceutical controlled schools. This was phoenix childrens hospital, "one of the best in country". Some dr`s can have some sense though.

I would worry about a tumor on the pituitary/hypothalimus. Make sure she is seen by both an oncologist and and endocrinologist. A size 6 at 3 yrs old is crazy big, my oldest is 10 yrs old and wears a size 3 shoe.

Doesn't matter how good the doctor is supposed to be, they get very little training in hormones unless they are endocrinologists, and even then they generally only specialize a certain area of endocrinology. Make sure you at least see a specialist in pediatric endocrinology, do some research, the fact that the doctor had to consult with an endo and didn't send you to one shows he is arrogant AND doesn't know everything he needs to. You can look up doctors and find what they have published, a top doctor has published a lot of research or developed new techniques you can read about...

Also remember there are estrogen-like substances in the environment and in foods, make sure you minimize her exposure to these, regardless if this has anything to do with it or not, it will still help.

yes they go from 1-13, which is infants sizes, and the reset/
