Needle question hrt users

I have been using 23g 1.5 inch needle, but my pharmacist has 23g 1 inch needles in stock and giving them to me cheap, do you guys use that small a needle? Or should I just stick with 1.5 inch? Thanks in advance!

I use 1/2 inch 28g slin pins and have done for years - never had a problem so your pins of choice shouldnt be a problem!

I personally use a 27ga ½" needle with a 1 ml syringe and inject shallow IM EOD.

In your case 23 ga 1" will do just fine.

you'll be fine, unless you have a fat ass then you might need the 1.5 otherwise your good lol

Just a Suggestion

Ask your Dr to prescribe 50mg AndroGel and use it ED instead.
ED is the best way to dose test and the gel is absorbed immediately into your system. Much more efficient. Especially for HRT.

TRT for me is 1" 25g BD..draw with an 18g and then pin with the 25....easy. Have done subq with a .5" 29g BD slin pin keep the dose below .5ml

the 1 inch is plenty for you, thats what I use and have always used.

you can use any length needle as long as its hitn muscle bro, if its hitn fat its just going to release slower into your body....

Screw the 1.5 inch 1inch will get the job done fine.

the inch one is fine. anyone that uses short pins I would be careful because I did so and ended up getting cellulitis from it and it wasnt pretty.

You must be one of those rich bodybuilders? I tried it for awhile; put it on at night before bed and my kid would crawl into bed with me. I was always worried I was getting it on him. So I started wearing a T-Shirt to bed and that sucked plus the cost was like $280 ($48 after Insurance) for a month supply. Finally switched over to Test Cyp which lasts 10 weeks for about $17 with insurance.

1" 23 gauge works just fine if your in decent shape.

Before I wasn't in decent shape. 5'6 238, and fat......lol. Now in 198 after keto diet. I feel great! I'll go with the 1 inch. Not by any means am I a looker like most on the board, but ever since I have joined here, I have read and learned a shit load of stuff from all. I thank everyone here for all of the help and patience with me. I'm definentally on my way to being in the best shape I have ever been!

For glutes 23g to 25g, 1.25 inch to 1.5 inch
