Hi all, appreciate some help on this thyroid question
I am on beta blockers these cause my reverse t3 to be high always and I would perfer to stay on these
these are recent bloods with me taking 12.5 cytomel(prescribed daily) at 8am the day before so these bloods are the following morning 8am before any meds (beta blockers or cytomel)
tsh= 2.9 uIU/ml range .450 - 4.500
free t4= 1.13 ng/dl range 0.82 - 1.77
free t3= 2.81 pg/ml range 1.81. - 4.06
reverse t3= 21.3 range 9.24 - 24.1
so I guess I have 2 options
1 stay on the beta blocker and do something with meds
or
2. get off beta blocker lower dosage of cytomel
any thoughts?
