Possibly, But After watching the trailer it seems like it could end up being a fairly objective, albeit dramatized film about high level bodybuilding. Plus Majors seems to be a decent actor. It doesnt look like it will end up being a really bad anti-steroid infomercial, the type you would expect to see come out in the 1990's.

I'm definitely not expecting that to be a reallly accurate depiction of what it's like to be a BBer, nor would i go to the movies expecting to see ridiculously accurate takes. But that looks like a great movie.

What’s interesting about this movie is that it’s one of the few times something has been “toned down” for Hollywood.

It’s absolutely a movie I will watch if it ever makes it out. But in no real world would Mike be Mr. Olympia and this guy even be a regional show winner.

@danieltx posted about this a while back when it was first supposed to be released. Then Majors beat up his ole lady and they shelved it. I don’t expect it to be 100% accurate to the life we lead but I’m def gonna watch it lol.

I never actually saw that. The only 90's drug/steroid commercials I remember are the "I LEARNED IT FROM WATCHING YOU !!" along with "This is your brain on drugs. Any questions?"

That's part of the premise - he's very socially awkward so he pours everything he has into bodybuilding.

The only movie I absolutely appreciated was when the Bell brothers came out with "Bigger Stronger Faster" and quoted "show me the dead bodies". I do not appreciate Arnold Schwarzenegger bailing on the bbing community when we needed him. He is as guilty as anyone at anytime when he should be advocating for us on our behalf. Instead he sold us out for his films and politics.
