This hints at an interesting point I was thinking on my walk after lunch today.I'd never give up training or they way I eat anyhow.
yeah I was just going to post the same. I literally remember talking to a friend 20 years ago about how sarms and myostatin inhibitors will take away all side effects of steroids and you really won't need to train much.I remember hearing about myostatin inhibitors and such things about 10-15 years ago and so far nothings come of it. Even if these latest things do have potential by the time they actually get released (if ever) the current generation of bodybuilders will probably be retired anyway so essentially none of us of current are probably going to be getting the bodybuilding benefits from them
Same, every damn time the "gurus" blow there wads all over this new "miracle drug" and its gonna revolutionice bodys and bla bla bla.. then fuck all changes...I remember hearing about myostatin inhibitors and such things about 10-15 years ago and so far nothings come of it. I think if it’s all so simple to just take a substance and have your dream body, there will always be different views of what that body is. If you look at yourself, and I guess that goes for every one of us, you’re never satisfied. If you’re 200, 250 or 300lbs, it’s never good enough. That’ll always stay the same. We would just have a lot more fucking big freaks walking around at 350-400lbs or something like that? Dropping dead by 30-35 thoughThis hints at an interesting point I was thinking on my walk after lunch today.
What Israetel says at the end about this "aesthetic revolution", where everyone will be able to live in his dream body and so on - in a hypothetical scenario, where looking like a bodybuilder was as easy as swallowing a pill, a large part of what makes bodybuilding so attractive would be ruined for me. I love bodybuilding because being even moderately succesful at it is reserved exclusively to those that are willing to sacrifice a lot of time, money and hard work to reach their goal - being extremely muscular is like a badge of honour and people admire it because it is rare. What makes it so rewarding is exactly that it is so difficult and time consuming. And it is not just about the emtional reward or the admiration you get from others - it also builds your character in the process and teaches you a lot about life in general that you can then apply to other endeavors.
I don't know if I could keep on training and eating this way if a drug like this existed - it certainly would be a lot less fun.

I have to disagree with you here - I am not against people getting access to useful medications or drugs that improve their lives ... not at all.Spot on. This is why I'm rooting against glp's. If they developed a drug that makes willpower and hard work irelevant and allows people who don't have it succeed at dieting, a similar drug for muscle building is coming.
Although I don't think the bigger guys have to worry, i don't think many people will want to look like bodybuilders, just lean with some muscle and aesthetic like a ufc fighter.
But the "inhibitors" did make some people a lot of money.....I remember hearing about myostatin inhibitors and such things about 10-15 years ago and so far nothings come of it.
