nothings official yet. Its a proposed bill. IMO if it passes crimes in jails will skyrocket. Most correction officers on the juice as they should be. They gotta deal with the scum of NJ- murders, rapist, etc. The gangs are more present in jails than outside of them.

any police officers that are breaking the law should be fired and jailed.
it is disgusting that we as a country can support clear hypocrisy.
these police are the same ones that will arrest you and take away any of your precieved freedoms if you do what they do.

what police should be doing is being VOCAL about there drug use.
The drugs are not the issue, the issue is a system that does not know how to deal with them and/or drug use in general.

Sure, police are supposed to be setting an example for the rest of the public, correct? So having guys like Ronnie who obviously use drugs, whether they be steroids or anything else, probably is not the best image for the police force. The pure and simple fact is that these kind of drugs should not be illegal in the first place, and they would have nothing to worry about. Because they ARE illegal because of idiot lawmakers in America, they like to make examples out of people. What will firing juiced up police officers and firefighters do? Probably get rid of some of the BETTER ones, honestly. The ones who are most likely in the best shape and thus most likely able to save or protect you better than the next guy. But steroids are just (1) small problem. There are much worse things when it comes to crooked cops than them being on AAS. They choose steroids to pick on, because it is a small targeted group that they can control without any public outcry or backlash. In the end, it's just a waste of money, A LOT of money, in fact, to pay for all the testing involved in this, money that could be much better spent in a thousand different ways.

I agree with your view, AAS shouldn't be illegal, but since they are, Cops shouldnt use them, any that do should be fired.

Great post. The only problem is that police can not be vocal about their drug use because it is against the law. So for them to be honest means to admit to breaking the law. It is the same with all illegal drugs. The majority of people who use drugs cause no issues to anyone else and you'd never even know that they use drugs. These people might want to speak out about it but know that if they do they could lose their jobs or their freedoms. This also carries over to those with actual drug problems. They too can be afraid to seek help for fear of legal repercussions.

In short our system sucks. It promotes dishonesty, profits criminals and actually causes more deaths then it prevents.

It has nothing to do with cops thinking they r above the law. Although some may think that, they know that if they get caught using they r going to get punished.

I think if they use it probably makes them more capable at times to do the job. If I was in real need of a cop it would not matter if he was juicing. If he was stopping your son or daughter from being kidnapped or raped would it matter if he was juicing, I THINK NOT.

I am a professional firefighter and have been for 14 years. I would much rather have a juiced up firefighter knocking down the door to rescue my two sons if my house was on fire, than some guy who can barely get on and off the truck. U see some ff's who could not even rescue there self much less anyone else.

The government has better things to be worried about PERIOD.
