I'm 6'4" 225 pounds 19 years old

I'm pretty strong, been trying to get leaner though and tighten everything up

One pic is about 8 months ago me flexing, the other is about 1 month ago just being casual, sorry had a wife beater on, just didnt feel like taking a new one and my camera sucks

any comments are appreciated

U just have to pick what you want to do. You cant get big and lean at the same time unless your on super amounts of gear. Try reading though some of the diet sections, research a little and you will find what works for you.

Thats not very good advice to a 19 year old and besides that... it is not even a true statement to begin with.

i agree...nuthinbutapeanut has done just that, while NATURAL. take a look at his first pics and his pics now...there's NO denying it can be done. it's just hard though

My advice was to never use drugs. I just said thats really what it takes to achieve lots of mass and getting lean at the same time. Im against that. Just like you can make more money robbing a bank than working. Its a true statement, doesnt mean I advise it.
 
And if he is new to the game then with proper diet/training you can achieve "some" muscle while getting lean, but come on guys, be honest, you cant pack on muscle while getting leaner. Only a handful of genetic freaks can do it. thats why we have dieting phases and bulking phases.

I've been trying to get more cut up though by only running, its been slow since i dont follow any diet.

Do you think i should continue this without any certain diet?

no, you should hire him...if i was doing bodybuilding i would hire phil without a hesitation. i am AMAZED at what he has done with nuthinbutapeanut.
 
pm him. he responded right here in this thread. i dont know exactly what his rates are nowadays but he is orth every penny. i really dont think he made himself super expensive though.

I hired Phil to help me out. He proved to me that you dont have to eat excessive calories to gain muscle. I used to do the bulking up thing, and then cut down. You do not have to do it that way. It is also much healthier not to, much easier on your body to not gain all that excess weight and then have to shed it.
 
you have to figure out how your body reacts to food. for example i do best on a high protein/fat, lower carb diet. BUUUUUUT, that does not mean it will work for you. You are young and have lots of time to experiment. Don't get caught up in the "eat everything you can fit in your mouth" garbage that some people will tell you.
 
oh and before i get hammered on for not saying this. When i say FATS I mean only good fats...flax, fish etc.
