New Years Eve Dinner - what ya’ll making?

I threw some babybacks on the table with Mexican corn on the cob for a quick lunch, dinner is gonna be fun.

Wellington, candied pork belly bites, Parmesan acorn squash, Mac and cheese, roasted rosemary potatoes, a giant cheese board (Brie two ways, fromage, French goat cheese, served with several jams), and a charcuterie board with selections of Italian meats and cheeses.

Got a couple packs of non-alcoholic Athletic Brewing to blow through all afternoon while I cook, but we’ve got several whiskeys, cognac, vodka, and champagne on deck for dinner. Gotta let the hair down a bit to wrap up the year.

Later tonight I'm preparing Lobster, fried shrimp, cocktail shrimp and some Filet mignon for me and the wifey.

I'm sure i'll have some junk food at some point over these next 3 hours. Got a bunch of gdamn chocolate from Christmas I need to get through ASAP...lol.

Was gonna have a bourbon/diet coke, but I think I may actually say no to it, lol.

Dude. Nice. Blackened salmon is hard to beat. Everyone loves Chilean sea bass, tuna steaks, etc, but a perfectly medium salmon filet with a crust is still my favorite.

It’s the only reason I have a Costco membership now. Got one back at the beginning of the Pandemic to have another options for TP. Found the Orange chicken then and literally the only reason I go there. I won’t wait in line for there cheap gas, nor walk the store looking for anything else. I don’t but in bulk unless it’s Orange chicken!

NY's Eve, was in bed by 6 PM, so no nice meals for us. (Wife actually crashed at 5 PM when we were watching a movie).
Had a nice chedder-burger yesterday (NY's Day) though, at a local place we like, with an O'Douls Amber.

Back to the chicken, turkey, rice, potatoes, broccoli, oats and stuff today though...
